About ESE

Gastrointestinal endoscopy and abdominal ultrasound take an important place in gastroenterology and hepatology. Endoscopy and endotherapy possibilities are expanding rapidly requiring specific skills and training. Also procedural knowledge, instrumental safety, desinfection and safe use of high frequency current are essential parts of training.

The ESE – Erasmus School of Endoscopy has a long history in offering structured and practical hands-on training in flexible endoscopy for medical specialists, residents or fellows and nurse endoscopists.

Hands-on courses are organised from basic to highly advanced workshops.

The courses and workshops are proctored by experienced trainers. The focus is on small groups hands-on training in a training environment combined with theoretical background training.
